In 2006, Databazaar.com began a philanthropy program aimed at promoting greater understanding of business and culture between the United States and South Asian countries --- two regions where Databazaar operates significant facilities for its online business. The initial effort therefore, is aimed at American and South Asian students in the fields of digital media and visual communication.
Accordingly, the two following specific scholarships have been instituted:

Databazaar.com is privileged to have the guidance & consulting of Prof. Sanjeev Chatterjee, Vice-Dean of the School of Communication, University of Miami, in the growth and management of the Databazaar Scholarship Fund. An award-winning film-maker of international acclaim, Prof. Chatterjee is also the Executive Director of the UM Center for the Advancement of Modern Media.
