I've used these medium-sized hanging strips for several picture frames weighting around 1 pound, followed all instructions and the frames are still held tightly on the wall after two weeks. Adhesion is strong. No problem with repositioning objects over and over after the 1 hour wait. Key is you must press strips for 30 secs and wait 1 hour before hanging, and when you reposition you must LIFT the object up like a door, not by PULLING straight up and away from the wall. I have not tested with heavier objects or removal of the strips.

BE CAREFUL not to to peel apart or cause even a bit of separation between the FOAM backing from the PLASTIC PIECE (with those tiny nubs) because they will not stick together again, thus when you reposition your frame/object the plastic piece loses even more adhesion to the foam backing, and you risk any fall and damage to your frame/object. I rate it 4 stars instead of 5 for this reason.
